NAR MANDATORY TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
NEW: Fair Housing Training Requirement
REALTORS® are required to complete Fair Housing / Anti-Bias Training upon becoming a member, and every 3 years thereafter, coinciding with the Code of Ethics training timeline. This requirement is in addition to the Code of Ethics training. Qualified training must be of not less than 2 hours of instructional time. To learn more, click here.
The current three-year cycle will end Dec. 31, 2027.
Courses satisfying the new NAR requirement
At Home With Diversity, a course to help real estate professionals work successfully in an increasingly diverse marketplace.
Bias Override: Overcoming Barriers to Fair Housing, a course to help real estate professionals identify and interrupt stereotypical thinking to avoid fair housing pitfalls.
Online Fair Housing Training with NO CE credit
Members may complete the online NAR Fairhaven: A Fair Housing Simulation 2025 Update. This course is free and does not provide CE credit. Approximately 2 hours, self-paced.
REALTOR® Code of Ethics
REALTORS® are required to complete the NAR Code of Ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time once within three-year cycles. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®.

Ethical Excellence: Raising the Bar
These online courses meets the requirements of the National Association of REALTORS and provides 3 hours of CE credit.
Online Code of Ethics with NO CE credit
Members may complete the code of ethics training online at www.nar.realtor.
This online course is designed for the mandatory minimum 2 hour, 30 minute training and does not provide CE credit.
