With nearly 100 members in attendance at our final membership meeting of 2014, checks were presented to two local community programs.
A donation of $1,000.00 was given to Cherokee County’s Shop With a Cop program which provides necessities to underprivileged children across the county.
A second donation for $1,700.00 was given to Habitat for Humanity, which the Cherokee Association of REALTORS® has supported for several years.
Community outreach and giving back is something that is near and dear to us and it was great to be able to share this with so many who attended this meeting. It’s because we have such tremendous support from our members and affiliate partners that we’re able to increase our community outreach and service every year. A big thank you to everyone who participated in our 2014 events including the golf tournament, school drive, Cherokee’s Got Talent and upcoming coat drive!
