(Woodstock, GA) Monday, August 20, 2018 – The Cherokee Association of REALTORS® (CAOR) reaffirms its commitment to the community by partnering with the Boys and Girls Club of Canton to sponsor “Operation, Fill Your Backpack”.
The association members dropped off school supplies as well as made financial donations, so the kids of the Boys and Girls Club could go back to school with the necessary supplies to get them off to a great start. With these REALTOR® member contributions along with proceeds from the annual spring golf tournament, the association was able to provide over $2,500.00 worth of school supplies for the Boys and Girls Club members
“Seeing the excited faces of the kids means everything to us and it has been very rewarding to work with the Boys and Girls Club” stated Diane Galvin who serves on the board of directors of the Cherokee Association of REALTORS®. Giving back to the community is a major focus for the Cherokee Association and partnering with the club is a great way for the membership of CAOR to stay involved and contribute right where they live and work.
The Cherokee Association of REALTORS® partnered with Boys and Girls Club in 2016 and plans to continue supporting this organization.
