Friday, July 21, 2017 – The Cherokee Association of REALTORS® (CAOR) reaffirms its commitment to the community by partnering with the Boys and Girls Club of Canton to provide 156 pairs of new athletic shoes to the club members soon to be heading back to school.
The Association raised funds through their annual golf tournament to contribute to this lofty goal. In addition, the membership of the Cherokee Association of REALTORS® were excited to contribute to the fundraising efforts to bring the goal of every Boys and Girls Club member getting a new pair of shoes to life. CAOR partnered with Nike, Inc. who offered a generous discount to make purchasing the shoes a reality.
“Our membership is simply big-hearted and amazing when it comes to supporting this community” stated Camille Gard, President of the Cherokee Association of REALTORS®. Giving back to the community is a major focus for the Cherokee Association and partnering with the club is a great way for the membership of CAOR to stay involved and contribute right where they live and work.
The Cherokee Association of REALTORS® partnered with Boys and Girls Club in 2016 and plans to continue supporting this organization.
