25 Volunteers Needed
WHAT TO BRING, WHAT TO WEAR, WHAT TO EXPECT
Please arrive by 8:45 AM
Work begins at 9 AM
Work ends between 2 PM and 3 PM
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age
Wear work boots or sturdy gym shoes (no open toes or clogs allowed) and clothing that you do not mind getting dirty.
All tools, hard hats, work gloves, and tool aprons will be provided by Habitat.
You may bring your own tools but please write your name on them to keep them from getting mixed in with our supplies (no power tools).
Print and sign the volunteer waiver (pages 2-4). Sign in and turn in the waiver upon arrival at the build site.
THINGS TO DO
Please be on time and stay until the day’s work is complete (typically between 2 PM and 3 PM).
Make sure you stay hydrated! Do not perform any activities that you do not feel comfortable doing. We can always find a suitable task for you.
Work hard, have fun, and make new friends!
Note: Habitat for Humanity regrets that due to liability issues, no children under the age of 16 are allowed on site. Workers 16-17 years old must have a minor waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
Please consider taking the online safety course if you have never volunteered with Habitat for Humanity before. This course is a great source of safety information for volunteers and it helps our affiliate to keep the cost of insurance down. You can find the online course at the link below.
