We as a Leadership Team understand that we are facing a unique situation with COVID-19 (aka, coronavirus). It is creating anxiety, fear and apprehension across all walks of life and certainly will impact our Industry in the near future. REALTORS need to be a foundation of strength and calm for clients and for each other. Our industry is built on relationships. Let’s show everyone in our community how we truly care and appreciate them during this time.
With that said, the CAOR board of directors has decided to follow the CDC recommendations and cancel or postpone CE classes, meetings and social events for 60 days.
It is our current intention to reschedule both the Top Achievers Banquet and our Braves Game and Tailgate event for later in the year.
There will be no April general membership meeting.
The supply store and Supra services will be closed at our location for this 60 day period. If you need a lockbox for a new listing, consider going to your broker first and/or perhaps purchasing a temporary generic lockbox from Home Depot or Lowes.
Ashley and I will be available to assist you with any member services you may need help with. There is nothing we can’t do via email or over the phone so rest assured we’ve got you covered!
From Georgia REALTORS (GAR): The GAR forms committee will be meeting tomorrow to draft a proposed special stipulation addressing the inability of parties to close due to COVID-19. A version of the special stipulation will be distributed to REALTORS and agents who’ve purchased the 2020 GAR Forms Package by close of business on Tuesday (March 17th).
