Q. Why should I join the Cherokee Association of REALTORS®?
A. Becoming a REALTOR® allows you membership to one of the largest and most recognized trade organizations in business. It shows the public that you adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and practice at a higher standard of professionalism. You have access to an array of networking opportunities, resources, tools and education not available to real estate licensees. As Cherokee REALTORS® we are proactively involved in our local communities through Habitat for Humanity, MUST Ministries, Cherokee County Schools, GreenPrints Alliance, Adopt-A-Highway and more.

Q. How long do I have to pay my 2014 dues?
A. The 2014 dues are due on October 1st and late after October 31st.

A. Yes. You may elect to pay your dues in four monthly installments of $105.00. There is a $20.00 processing fee applied to the payment plan.
Q. What is the “Suggested RPAC Investment” on my invoice?
A. RPAC is the REALTOR® Political Action Committee. Members may elect to make an RPAC investment with their dues billing each year. RPAC funds go directly to political candidates who support REALTORS®, homeownership and private property rights. We like to think of RPAC as an “insurance policy” for our industry!
Q. Why do you invoice so early for the 2014 dues?
A. We collect our annual dues in advance so that our finance committee can prepare an operating budget in November for the upcoming year. We prepare our budget based on the number of renewing members.
Q. When does my membership expire?
A. Your membership expires on December 31st of each year.
